Pope Election vs. Prophet Calling

I've had a lot of people ask lately about the difference between the election of a Catholic Pope and the calling of an LDS Prophet. I just found this great article that explains the two processes, in great detail, with appropriate reverence to both religions:

Wow. A 3 hour drive to Oakland; a red eye flight to Dulles (during which only Lily slept); a five hour drive home to Blacksburg (the interstate was closed for construction); Lily and I have colds; Val has the flu. And thus ends the Redfearn Christmas Adventure 2012. But we already miss all the fun we had with our awesome family!
